Easy Pasting: Here's How!

Applying our stickers is easy with this step-by-step guide. Follow the instructions for perfect results. @Mike Bos shows you how. Don't forget to check out his YouTube video for more information and his great Fristi 2.0 vlog.

Step 1: Preparation

  • Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease. Use a soft cloth and a degreaser (such as isopropyl alcohol) to remove dust and dirt.
  • Preferably work at a temperature between 10Β°C and 25Β°C for best adhesion.

Step 2: Positioning

Carefully remove the sticker from the packaging.

For individual letters, thin stickers or multi-part designs: use the included application foil .

Cut the application film to size and stick it over the sticker to keep everything in place.

Determine the correct position on the surface and, if necessary, mark it with tape as a reference.

Step 3: Working with Application Film

(only for stickers that are difficult to stick by hand)

Application film is especially useful for:

  • loose elements that easily deform (e.g. words or small logos);
  • stickers that consist of multiple parts and must remain in a fixed pattern.

Usage:

  1. Place the sticker with application foil on the desired location.
  2. Press firmly with a squeegee or soft cloth.
  3. Slowly peel off the application film at an angle of about 45Β°, so that the sticker remains neatly behind.

Step 4: Application (small stickers without application film)

  • Remove the protective paper from the back.
  • Carefully stick the sticker onto the surface, starting from one side.
  • Rub evenly with a soft cloth or squeegee to avoid air bubbles.

Step 5: Using a hair dryer for large stickers

With very large stickers, it can sometimes be difficult to apply them neatly, especially if you have to make a curve or corner. To make the sticker a little more flexible:

  1. Ask a second person to help. One person holds the hairdryer while the other applies the sticker.

  2. Gently heat the sticker with a hairdryer on a low to medium setting. Hold the hairdryer a few inches away and move it slowly back and forth until the sticker becomes warm and pliable.

  3. While the sticker is warm, it's best to bend and shape it over corners or curves. Work gently from the center outward to avoid air bubbles.

  4. Let the sticker cool briefly after it is in place; it will then retain its shape and adhere firmly.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Do not overheat the sticker, as this may cause deformation or damage.

Step 6: Check

Check that the sticker is firmly attached and that there are no air bubbles.

If necessary, use a needle to gently pierce any small air bubbles and then smooth them out with a squeegee or soft cloth.

Step 7: Curing

Let the sticker rest for 24 hours so that it can adhere properly.

During this period, avoid extreme weather conditions such as rain or strong heat.
